Our Story
Three generations in the trade
“The reason we are such a strong company after 30 years of being in business is our passion for customer satisfaction and our love for the industry!”
Glen's father, Ron Sr., started in the mechanical industry in 1957 — going on to become controller and co-owner of two of the largest mechanical contracting companies in Ontario, and President of the Mechanical Contractors of Toronto and then of Ontario.
His children followed him into the trades. Glen earned his plumbing licence and opened a company of his own, incorporating Glen The Plumber in 1988. Glen's wife Cindy, a University of Toronto graduate, runs the office as manager and safety officer — keeping employee training current and the crew safe on every job.
Glen is a Master Plumber, licensed Gas Fitter and Licensed Backflow Specialist, and keeps the municipal licensing, bonding and TSSA tickets current for fuels, process piping, compressed air, hydraulics, hot water and steam — Power Process Piping.
